Your birthing experience is a unique and special time, and we are committed to granting you absolute freedom in your choices, wishes and desires for how you envision your experience will unfold. We believe that empowering women during childbirth will build a foundation for empowerment in motherhood and beyond.

Choice

The bedrock of any successful childbirth is a mother making informed choices. We fully support and encourage you to own your birthing experience and let us know exactly what your birth wishes entail. Mother Earth Doula will do everything in our power to give you the birth you envision. We will provide evidence based guidance and professional care in accordance with your birth plan.

Positivity

When our wishes don't go exactly as planned, as is sometimes the case, we must improvise and adapt. We will have detailed backup plans in place should any of your original plans fall through for any reason. Maintaining a positive, loving and compassionate attitude during this time is paramount to a successful and joyful birthing experience. Trained Birth Doula (DONA)

With an extensive background in childcare, Thalia decided to pursue her dreams of becoming a Birth Doula in 2016 after obtaining her undergraduate degree. Professionally trained by DONA, Thalia has the experience and education necessary to create positive and lasting memories for expectant mothers.

After Thalia's first successful homebirth of her daughter Alice, and upon obtaining her M.S. in Nonprofit Management, Thalia created Mother Earth Doula to give families and mothers-to-be the same incredible type of childbirth she experienced.

As Thalia works to complete all of her certifications, she is excited to work with expectant mothers and provide compassionate, affordable care to create memorable birthing experiences.
